Fringe is in! And these little cup cozies are no exception. This design has been my most popular cup cozy at craft fairs this year. I hope you enjoy this simple and stylish pattern!

Crochet Hook: US I (5.5 mm)
Size 5 yarn (I used Loops & Threads Velveteen)
Thread & sewing needle for attaching button
1″ = 3 hdc
(hdc) half-double crochet
(sl st) slip stitch
Chain 26. Join to the first chain with a sl st to create a circle. Ch 1.
Row 1: Hdc in same stitch and around (26). Join with sl st to first hdc. Ch 1.
Rows 2-5: Repeat Row 1.
Row 6: Hdc in same stitch and next 4 stitches. 2hdc in next stitch. Hdc in next 14 stitches. 2 hdc in next stitch. Hdc in next 5 stitches (28). Join with sl st to first hdc. Ch 1.
Row 7: Hdc in same stitch and around (28). Join with sl st to first hdc. Ch 1.
Row 8: Hdc in same stitch and around (28). Join with sl st to first hdc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Button: Attach the button near the top of the Cup Cozy.
Fringe: Cut 28 pieces of yarn, about 6″ each. Locate the row that lands directly below the lower edge of the button. Attach one piece of yarn to each stitch around the row. Trim the fringe so that it is the length that you want and the ends are even.
