Beginner Patterns
These beginner patterns are a great place to start if you are new to crochet. They will usually utilize the most basic stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet). There will also only be a handful of stitches used in each pattern, so as to not overwhelm you!
A few terms you will be expected to know as a beginner are how to start a project with a slip stitch, how to create a foundation chain, how to turn and how to join with a slip stitch. You will also need to know how to finish off at the end of the project and weave in your ends. If you are not familiar with any of these basic skills yet, you should be able to find them will a quick google search.
