What is a towel topper?
A towel topper is a ring or band fashioned to hold your kitchen towel to a hook, knob or handle in the kitchen. The main purpose is to hold your towel more securely in the location you want it, rather than just draping it loosely. Nobody likes having to re-secure a towel every time you dry your hands! These helpful little tools remove that tiny annoyance!
A towel topper can be constructed with various materials. Some are a solid band or bandana shape, made of material to wrap around the towel. The material can be made of cloth or, in the case of our designs we’re looking at today, they can be crocheted with yarn.
