Thank You For A Wonderful Year!

It is amazing what you can do in a year! One year ago, Cute As A Button Crochet & Craft did not exist. I didn’t have a business name or a logo, I had never sold a single item, I was watching my very first YouTube videos on how to do a treble crochet and how to crochet in the back loop! Doing my first craft show seemed like a far-off dream and creating a website felt daunting. Now a year later and all these things have come and gone and it has been way more fun than I ever imagined.

I went to my first two craft fairs this year… The 4th of July Craft Fair in July and the Festival of Light in November. It was so rewarding to share my work and see people enjoy what I had created. It was also fun to share the experience with my eleven year old son, Nathan, who has created his own product line, Little Green Thumb. We met so many wonderful people and had a blast being part of these social events. I am so happy that I took the risk and tried something new!

Thank you to each and every one of you who encouraged me, came to my events, gave me advice, commented on my photos, bought one (or more 🙂 ) of my creations, or ‘liked’ and shared my page this last year. I have felt so honored and blessed by your interest and support! I couldn’t have done it without you. It is the reward of seeing people enjoy my work that fuels my desire to do more. Thank you for sharing in this new passion of mine!

I am barely one foot out of 2015 and I’m already eager for more in 2016. I have a list of new patterns I can’t wait to try and new items to add to my shop. I loved discovering what you all liked the most this past year and am planning more of your favorites this coming year. I hope you like them. Thank you for allowing me to share a little part of your life in 2015!
